Overview
Mut-drö Kez was founded durring the late 11th century, by Ya̋chīnḱ Gāshvoī 'Robbi Daisy' Séchī Bé̄kī Coú Chenvriu. The establishment of Mut-drö Kez was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Ya̋chīnḱ Gāshvoī 'Robbi Daisy' Séchī Bé̄kī Coú Chenvriu electing to pay people to resettle in Mut-drö Kez.
Mut-drö Kez was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Mut-drö Kez is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.
Mut-drö Kez is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of broad paverstone streets which form hexical paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the town's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. Mut-drö Kez's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. The town's top tier civilian fortifications have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.
Mut-drö Kez is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the town like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife. There’s a patern to the panic. It’s not easy to see, and no one quite agrees on what it is, but the locals know and operate under this pattern. It shapes everything they do, and you feel as if you’ve almost worked it out only for some small detail to devastate your theory every time you try and comprehend it.

Cultural Notes
Mut-drö Kez's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by towering round arches, massive stone and brickwork, small windows, thick walls, and a propensity for housing art and sculpture depicting mythological scenes. The building's general shape would be a clever and ascetic combination of geometric shapes, which would be blended together by joining elements. The style's decorative features were largely internal rather than external and incorporated semicircular arches for windows, doors, and arcades; barrel or groin vaults to support the roof of the nave; massive piers and walls, with few windows, to contain the outward thrust of the vaults; side aisles with galleries above them..

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century the No̠f-i̽n Gǟk Woodlands was struck by a drought when Mere Chouteau grew too small to continue feeding Waterway Northtara, which reduced the available water supply nationwide, but was especially harsh in the area arround Mut-drö Kez. As the neighboring regions had no water so spare, Mut-drö Kez lost 146 people, and 360 livestock in the disaster.. The drought lasted for 2 weeks, which are remembered as the Calamity Thirst.
